In her speech yesterday to Parliament, the Prime Minister of Britain Theresa May indicated that she felt vindicated in not calling for a vote in Parliament before taking military action.  She further indicated that her decision was “…a decision which required the evaluation of intelligence and information much of which was of a nature that could not be shared with Parliament.”

What sort of information cannot be shared with Parliament – the body responsible for governing the country?  Surely Parliament can only properly execute its role when it is in full possession of the facts?  Surely in fact, all information must be shared with Parliament?

Anyone who doesn’t see the need to share information with the body responsible for the democratic processes of the country clearly doesn’t see the need for those self-same democratic processes…

  1. Probably so confidential it can’t be discussed publicly or privately, only Tweeted (IN CAPS) from across the Atlantic.
More likely so fake it should/will be on CNN, NYT and the Washington Post.

I wonder if Michael Cohen’s records will show Trump businesses being conducted from the White House, or even more voluntary payments being made to significant others – or maybe where Cohen’s funding comes from?
