So the British Foreign Secretary, the man who apparently hummed and hawed between ‘Remain’ and ‘Brexit’, weighing up political gain before firmly standing for the ‘Brexit’ Camp now defends his decision not to resign over the 3rd runway at Heathrow. ‘Lesser men’ than he have resigned from a government post so as to be able to vote against the move in parliament, yet he Boris is clearly made of sterner stuff.  Despite having claimed that he would “lie down in front of those bulldozers” to stop the expansion, he now indicates that to resign in order to vote against the move would “achieve nothing“…  except that is, to make him a man of principle!
