I’m trying to find some poems,

That I wrote some time ago.

They’re up here in my head I’m sure,

But where, I do not know!

I try to think, I wrack my brains,

For much good it will do.

No trace of them there can be found,

I haven’t got a clue!

So in future, I’ll be careful,

The next time one is found.

I’ll grab a pen and paper,

And be sure to write it down!
