Time to sleep, so climb into bed,

Close both your eyes and lay down your head.

Tomorrow we’ll go to the beach and have fun,

We’ll laugh and play, and fly kites in the sun.

“But what if there’s no wind?”, said the girl to her dad,

“Our kites will not fly, and then we’ll be sad”

“No we won’t” he replied, “we’ll make wind in our heads,”

“We’ll hold up our hands and imagine instead.”

“We’ll stick out our arms and hold them up high,”

“And run down the beach, with our kites in the sky.”

Up through the clouds they’ll continue to rise,

Beyond even where the highest bird flies.
