Of the 7 political parties invited to participate in the televised debate this week for the United Kingdom General Election, 2 Party leaders did not attend. If you are putting yourself forward for the role of Prime Minister, then surely you should be expected to present yourself? The choice of whether or not to participate should not be down to the individual politician – it should be an obligation.
