Yesterday, after the attack in London the Prime Minister Theresa May said of the attackers that they “…must be persuaded that Western Values are superior”.  Why? What makes her so sure that Western Values are Superior?

The United Kingdom has such poverty that more than 1 million 3-Day emergency food parcels were handed out by just one charity last year… (more than a quarter of which were to employed people)

The United States of America has a constitution that protects the right of an individual to bear a firearm – and firearms were involved in nearly 13,000 murders in 2015…

Rather than simply claiming their superiority, we need to change our ‘Western Values’ if people are to be persuaded of them.
