How exactly can the current government be doing what is best for Britain concerning ‘Brexit’ when they do not even have a detailed forecast of the likely impact of their decisions? The Secretary of State for ‘Brexit’ David Davis yesterday announced to the Parliamentary Committee that there existed no quantitative data on the impact of leaving the European Union – yet despite which, the government continues to forge ahead with their plans, and continues to draw its lines in the sand; such as their declared position of not wanting to be in the Customs Union or the Single Market.
Isn’t it nice to see that the government of the United Kingdom is making decisions based on evidenced, empirical data and not simply reacting to whatever they happen to be thinking at the time… I mean, it is only the future of the nation at stake here, nothing to get worked up about..!
